Following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May, 2020 and recognizing the deep-seeded need for systemic change, this is a non-comprehensive list of government steps and business commitments to dismantle racial inequities in the MSP region. These commitments range across partnerships, philanthropy, investment, supply chain, and hiring and retention, and serve as but a snapshot of the direct efforts being made by leaders across the region to root out the economic and health disparities caused by systemic racism.
