Coco Co-Working Day with lunch & learn, downtown Minneapolis

Plug in at the beautiful downtown Minneapolis Grain Exchange Building with a free co-working day at Coco. Take a mid-day break to join fellow interns at a complimentary lunch & learn to get behind-the-scenes dish on MSP from experts with Meet Minneapolis, Visit Saint Paul and GREATER MSP. Young Innovators Block Party presented by UEL, Minneapolis, 4–6 pm

Join us to celebrate ingenuity, creativity and bold steps! Learn about great resources in MSP for those interested in dipping a toe in the start-up pool. Hear from those who have made courageous leaps based on a nugget of an idea. Tour a facility dedicated to homegrown innovation. Hosted by University Enterprise Laboratories (UEL), MSP’s leading life science incubator and home to many start-up labs. Juneteenth: Check out MSP retailers and restaurateurs of color

We aren’t hosting a group event, but stay tuned for ways to show up and support BIPOC businesses across MSP. From restaurants to juice bars, bookstores to beauty bars, you’ll find an awesome array of Black-owned options.

Community Care Give-Back Event at Mall of America, Bloomington, 3–5:30 pm

Everyone knows the Mall of America is a massive shopping center, but at this event you’ll see how it’s also committed to the MSP community. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of MOA sustainability & safety initiatives. Hear from engaging speakers. And get active in a hands-on volunteer event that will help out kids in MSP. And no trip to the mall is complete without a spin at Nickelodeon Universe—complimentary wristband from MOA. Only 125 seats available; first-come, first-served. Register now

Career Kickoff Workshop, University of St. Thomas, Opus Hall, downtown Minneapolis, 11 am-12:30 pm

It’s never too soon to think about your professional path—what you do now may reward you later. Join us for a networking and leadership development workshop focused on skill-building for your career. Hear from a high-powered group of local leaders and engage in small-group conversations about how opportunities and pathways in MSP can propel your career. Complimentary light lunch will be served.
