Seeking insight from MSP talent leaders
Attracting and retaining top talent continues to be top of mind for employers of all sizes in all sectors. Here in Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) we boast an incredible workforce that fuels our growth. But we also face major opportunities for improvement.
This year we launched Make It. MSP. Talent Tips, a twice-monthly update for talent and HR leaders and executives. The network already includes nearly 700 leaders from Fortune 500 companies, major colleges and universities, local and state government, small and mid-size businesses, fast-growing startups, and nonprofits. These leaders, grappling with talent attraction and retention issues at their organizations, play a critical role in shaping the region’s overall performance.
In an effort to provide this network with tools and insights, we are rolling out the MSP Talent Tips survey. We want to hear from individuals working in MSP across every type of organization. By better understanding talent attraction and retention issues we can continue to build better solutions.
Why complete the MSP Talent Tips survey?
Survey respondents won’t just be sharing their insight with our team. Results will be distributed this winter in the second Make It. MSP. Insights report. (See: 2016 report.) When released this winter, the report will include analysis migration trends, national perceptions of MSP, labor force projections, and more. It will allow employers to benchmark against peers, set priorities, and take action.
The survey should take roughly 10-12 minutes to complete. While it asks for context including organization size, sector, and industry, the survey does not connect responses to specific entity. All responses are confidential and will be presented in aggregate. The survey asks for leaders’ individual perceptions, not official organizational positions, so respondents can feel comfortable answering based on personal insight.
Following completion of the survey respondents can visit a separate link to sign up for information and enter to win prizes. We encourage sharing this survey, and later the results, with colleagues throughout your network. Thanks for your help and your partnership.
