I love to play beach volleyball and softball in the summer! It is a great excuse to get outside and meet new people. I play volleyball at Lord Fletcher’s on Lake Minnetonka and play softball in a league in Bloomington. But there are so many different leagues to play in. Take a look at your local Parks and Recreation website.

I love biking along the Mississippi River in St. Paul in the summer. I never tire of it because the the river and the surrounding scenery are always changing.

There are so many great places to kayak here during the summer. I’m excited to try out the new Paddle Share program on the Mississippi River. If you can make a day of it, one of my favorite places to go is southeast of the metro down near Lake Pepin, the widest part of the Mississippi. You’ll never see more eagles in your life!
