Arts & Culture
From children’s theater to Broadway, MSP has an outstanding theater scene. We have art museums, art crawls and an art-a-whirl. Foodies have a crush on this place, too—and for good reason. We had 16 James Beard finalists in 2015. Combine all that with a thick number of live music venues and you’ve got a hub of fun. MSP is also a host to Northern Spark, an all-night art festival that lights up the night on the 2nd Saturday of June every year. Tens of thousands of people gather throughout Minneapolis to explore the city’s great cultural institutions, play in temporary installations in the streets, and enjoy experimental performances in green spaces and under bridges. Check out our highlight video from last summer’s festival below!
